Wood products feature prominently in the Alliance for American Manufacturing’s new Christmas gift guide. The list lists the products of the 50 states that are made in the country. California

Tree Hut in San Francisco makes wooden watches and sunglasses. Sunglasses, watch cases, and watch bands are wooden products made in the United States, although the inner workings of the watch are sourced from overseas suppliers.

Illinois

John Boos & Co. makes butcher blocks and cutting boards that would make a great gift for any cooking and cooking lover.

Indiana

The Hoosier Bat Company in Valparaiso, Indiana, claims to be the second oldest manufacturer of wooden baseball bats in the United States. They are approved by Major League Baseball and will even make custom orders to your liking.

Louisiana

Bergeron Woodworks manufactures frames, boxes, mirror frames and trunks from reclaimed wood and designed by David Bergeron. Custom orders are also available.

Michigan

Iverson Snowshoes is based in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and makes traditional wooden snowshoes perfect for a winter walk.

Uncle Goose makes handmade wooden blocks for kids, a classic toy for the holiday season. In addition to traditional alphabet blocks, they also make blocks in other themes, such as dinosaurs. All the materials for the blocks come from the Great Lakes region.

Missouri

Niles Bottle Stoppers make designer bottle stoppers to keep wine, bourbon and other spirits cool. Besides wood, options are available in glass and stone.

North Dakota

Tennessee

Delgado Guitars has been making handmade instruments since 1928 as a family business, now in its third generation. They only make a few dozen each year.

Washington

Rite in the Rain makes a product that, while strictly not wood, is something that carpenters who work outdoors might appreciate. The 102-year-old company makes notebooks, notebooks and writing tools, all designed to work in wet weather.
