Buy wood products made in the United States for gifts


Wood products feature prominently in the Alliance for American Manufacturing’s new Christmas gift guide. The list lists the products of the 50 states that are made in the country. Tree Hut in San Francisco makes wooden watches and sunglasses. Sunglasses, watch cases, and watch bands are wooden products made in the United States, although the inner workings of the watch are sourced from overseas suppliers.


John Boos & Co. makes butcher blocks and cutting boards that would make a great gift for any cooking and cooking lover.


The Hoosier Bat Company in Valparaiso, Indiana, claims to be the second oldest manufacturer of wooden baseball bats in the United States. They are approved by Major League Baseball and will even make custom orders to your liking.


Bergeron Woodworks manufactures frames, boxes, mirror frames and trunks from reclaimed wood and designed by David Bergeron. Custom orders are also available.


Iverson Snowshoes is based in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and makes traditional wooden snowshoes perfect for a winter walk.

Uncle Goose makes handmade wooden blocks for kids, a classic toy for the holiday season. In addition to traditional alphabet blocks, they also make blocks in other themes, such as dinosaurs. All the materials for the blocks come from the Great Lakes region.
