COLOMBIA, South Carolina – Queen Wood Products, a subsidiary of Queen Horse Bedding, today announced plans to expand operations in Allendale County. The investment of more than $ 6 million will create 19 new jobs.
Founded in 1998, Queen Wood Products is a family owned business that specializes in supplying wood chips for barn stalls.
Extending to 538 Multitex Street in Ulmer, Queen Wood Products’ new location will increase the company’s ability to meet growing demand.

The Economic Development Coordinating Board approved a $ 250,000 grant from the Rural Infrastructure Fund to Allendale County to help cover costs associated with the project.
